Leadership Lesson: Have Fun with Your Team and Laugh at Yourself

I recently bet the HotelTonight team that the University of Virginia could go all the way in the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament and take home the national championship. Having attended UVA myself, I might have let a little March Madness creep into my betting decision. 

If I lost, they got to choose what my next LinkedIn post would be about.

Unfortunately for me on multiple levels, the Cavaliers lost a gut-wrenching battle to the Spartans of Michigan State in the Sweet Sixteen round of the tournament this past weekend. 

This is what my team chose for me to post about.

Yeah. But why not? Cats seem to rule the Internets with their expressive mannerisms, much like the following influencers do for the LinkedIn community, so it’s only fitting that we celebrate their accomplishments together.
